This is the best and easiest way to make nachos. We will start from scratch by making nachos at home along with salsa and sour cream. You just have to follow the steps one by one and your home made nachos will be ready. Trust me you make these once and their is no way of going back.
For this recipe we will use samosa Patti as the nachos base or the nachos chips which is also used to make a lot of different recipes like Spring wontons, Spring Rolls etc. It is cheaper in price and gives great results.
I have uploaded a full video on YouTube if you have any confusion you can definitely check that out!
Step 1: Prepare Salsa for Nachos

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Tomato ketchup
- 1 cup Chili ketchup
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Soya sauce
- 2 tbsp Chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Crushed Red chili
- Salt (to your taste)
- 1 Onion medium size (finely chopped)
- 1 Capsicum/bell peppers (finely chopped)
- 1 Tomato (finely chopped)
Method to Prepare Salsa:
1) Combine tomato ketchup, chili ketchup, brown sugar, honey, soya sauce, chili sauce and crushed red chili. Mix everything together.
2) Now finely chop tomato, bell pepper and onion. Add them into the salsa mixture.
3) Add salt according to your taste. Mix everything nicely.
Prepare sour cream at home

Ingredients
- 1 Cream (packet)
- Lemon juice (2 lemons)
- 1 teaspoon Parsley
- Salt (as needed)
Method to Prepare Sour Cream:
1) Beat Cream and lemon juice for atleast 4-5 minutes or until the cream becomes thick or stiff peak are formed.
2) Add salt and parsley and mix again.
3) Maybe you don’t like the taste when taste it but trust me when we will combine it with nachos you will love it.
Prepare NACHOS:

Ingredients
- 1 packet Samosa Patti
- Olives
- Green onions (handful)
- Boiled Chicken (optional)
- Salsa
- Sour cream
Method:
1) Take one packet of samosa Patti and cut them into triangles. For that you will have to cut them into four parts first so they will make 4 squares. Then cut each square into half and it will make triangles.
2) Fry them on medium flame until golden brown.
4) Assemble them by adding samosa Patti on a tray. Then add salsa and sour cream on top.
5) Garnish it with olives, green onions and boiled chicken.
IMPORTANT:
Combine everything together when you have to serve it otherwise the nachos are going to get soggy and crispiness of the samosa Patti will be gone. You can prepare the salsa and sour cream before hand and keep them in the fridge for more than a week but for samosa Patti it gets soggy after a while so assemble them only when you are serving.
